Country Manager
Lead Sarens' operations and growth in Papua New Guinea.
Based in Port Moresby and reporting to the Regional Director Oceania, the Country Manager is responsible for the overall safety, commercial performance, operational delivery, and strategic growth of Sarens Papua New Guinea.
This leadership role requires a hands-on approach, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to develop local talent while ensuring the successful delivery of heavy lifting and engineered transport projects.

- Lead a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Sarens SHEQ standards and local legislation.
- Manage the country P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial performance.
- Drive business growth through client relationship management, tendering, and contract negotiations.
- Oversee operational performance, project delivery, and fleet utilization.
- Develop and lead a high-performing team with a focus on Papua New Guinea national talent.
- Build strong relationships with clients, government authorities, communities, and key stakeholders.
- Report on operational, financial, and safety performance while contributing to regional business strategy.
- Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience within cranage, heavy lifting, transport, mining, construction, or a related industry.
- Proven experience managing a business unit with P&L responsibility.
- Strong experience working in Papua New Guinea and understanding of the local business environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience in tendering, contracts, and client management.
- Experience leading and developing multicultural teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
