QA/QC Officer
QA/QC Officer | Cape Town
The QA/QC Officer is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) across projects and operational activities. The incumbent will ensure that all work is executed in accordance with client specifications, contractual requirements, company standards, ISO requirements, and applicable legislation. The role is responsible for conducting inspections, audits, quality control checks, and ensuring that corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
PROFILE
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections and audits across projects and operations.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and ISO standards.
- Monitor and maintain quality records and project documentation.
- Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality awareness programs.
- Participate in client, internal, and certification audits.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years' QA/QC experience within construction, mining, engineering, or heavy lifting environments.
- Sound understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Strong auditing, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
