Key Account Manager EPC Projects

Technical. Commercial. Driven.

Are you the link between complex engineering and commercial success? As Key Account Manager EPC at Sarens Projects, you’ll work on technically challenging heavy lifting and engineered transport projects for leading Engineering, Procurement & Construction companies worldwide – with a strong focus on the Italian market. You combine technical expertise with strong commercial skills to build lasting relationships and close high-value deals. Your deep understanding of EPC environments, tenders, and contracts helps you translate complex client needs into tailor-made solutions. With your proactive mindset and technical insight, you’ll help drive our international growth.

Your job in a nutshell:

  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing EPC clients through regular contact and international site visits (±80% of projects in Italy)
  • Proactively generate new business through targeted prospecting
  • Analyse client needs and translate them into heavy lifting solutions
  • Advise on the optimal combination of equipment (cranes, SPMTs, strand jacks, jacking systems, pontoons…) based on quality, safety, time, and cost
  • Prepare and present tenders and proposals (in collaboration with inside sales or independently for smaller projects)
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and contract details
  • Closely follow up on projects until handover to operations
  • Handle all required administrative and reporting tasks

You’ll be part of a team of Key Account Managers, with a dedicated focus on the Italian EPC market. Location: Sarens HQ in Wolvertem, Belgium.


ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for a confident technical advisor with a commercial mindset and a passion for EPC environments. You know how to build trust, spot opportunities, and close deals that make a difference.

  • At least Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field
  • Experience in EPC industry, ideally in oil & gas or petrochemical projects
  • Strong knowledge of tenders and contracts
  • Fluency in English and Italian (spoken and written) – Dutch is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
  • Flexibility in tasks and working hours
  • Willingness to travel internationally (±35%, mainly to Italy)
  • A blend of relationship builder and proactive hunter
