As an Accountant at Sarens, you ensure accurate and punctual accounting and financial reporting for the business units under your responsibility. You own the full Record-to-Report process and guarantee compliance with Group standards and local legislation. Your work provides management with clear, reliable financial insights and supports sound decision-making. Your job in a nutshell:

• You ensure a reliable and punctual Record-to-Report (R2R) process in line with Group standards and local legal requirements.
• You manage full accounting activities including General Ledger, fixed assets, provisions, deferrals, VAT/taxes, intercompany reconciliations and cash monitoring.
• You prepare and execute monthly, quarterly and yearly closings with accuracy and discipline.
• You produce financial reports, balance sheets and profit & loss statements to keep management fully informed.
• You prepare the annual report and act as a key contact for external accountants and auditors.
• You ensure statutory and statistical reporting in compliance with legal and Group requirements.
• You actively identify irregularities, investigate deviations and take corrective actions where needed.
• You contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes, embracing Lean principles.
• You ensure compliance with Sarens’ SHEQ standards and regularly visit sites, completing WPIs.
• You report to the Financial & Business Controller and work closely with AR, bank reconciliation, controllers and line management.
